Beadbound Chain

A tactile and unusual chainmail design, Beadbound is my name for the Inverted Round Captive Bead weave, combining stainless steel rings with precision ball bearings captured securely within the weave.

Each piece is made by hand, one ring at a time, carefully building the weave around each individual bearing. The captured bearings give the chain a distinctive weight and tactile quality, while allowing the piece to move naturally as you wear it.

The Inverted Round Captive Bead weave creates a beautifully intricate structure around each bearing, giving the chain a subtle mechanical feel and plenty of visual detail. Its unusual construction has a distinctly gothic and fantasy character, while its clean design makes it versatile enough for everyday wear.

Choose your length, choose how you wear it:

- 6–12 inches — Bracelet or anklet
- 13–16 inches — Choker
- 17–30 inches — Necklace
