Byzantine Caged Ball Earrings

A striking pair of handmade drop earrings combining intricate Byzantine chainmail with a precision ball bearing and a pointed spike for a darker, more unusual finish.

Each earring is made by hand, one ring at a time, carefully building the Byzantine sections around the central ball bearing. The combination of the woven rings, smooth metal ball and pointed spike creates a beautifully detailed piece with plenty of texture and movement.

At approximately 6cm long, these earrings have a noticeable drop without feeling overly bulky. The intricate Byzantine weave gives them a distinctly gothic and fantasy character, while the ball bearing and spike add a subtle mechanical, almost weapon-inspired edge.

Wear them on their own as a statement piece, or pair them with other SilverWyrm jewellery for a darker, more elaborate look.
