Leatherbound Chain

A striking combination of chainmail and leather, this 6.5mm Inverted Round chain is built around a leather core, with stainless steel rings woven around it to create a structured piece with a satisfying weight and movement.

Each piece is made by hand, one ring at a time, carefully weaving the stainless steel rings around the leather core. The leather gives the chain a more substantial, structured feel than a traditional all-metal weave, while still allowing plenty of movement as you wear it.

The combination of stainless steel and leather gives this piece a slightly rugged, tactile character, while the intricate chainmail weave adds plenty of detail. With its medieval and fantasy-inspired look, it makes a great everyday piece or a more distinctive addition to a layered jewellery collection.

Please note: because this piece contains a leather core, it should not be exposed to prolonged moisture or worn in the shower. The stainless steel rings are water-resistant and tarnish-resistant, but the leather core requires a little more care.
