Modified Byzantine Chain

A bold variation on the classic Byzantine weave, this 11mm Modified Byzantine chain is made from individually linked stainless steel rings, creating an intricate pattern with plenty of texture, weight and character.

Each piece is made by hand, one ring at a time, so every chain has that slightly unique handmade feel. The modified construction gives the familiar Byzantine pattern a different structure and appearance, creating a substantial chain with plenty of visual detail while still allowing comfortable movement.

The design has a strong medieval and fantasy feel, while its substantial 11mm profile gives it plenty of presence. Wear it as a statement bracelet, a bold choker, or a longer necklace, or layer it with other jewellery for a more dramatic look.
