Voidknot Chain

A bold and intricate chainmail design, the 12mm Voidknot is a distinctive interlocking chain with a strong gothic and fantasy character.

The Voidknot is a chain design that I developed for SilverWyrm. I experimented with the structure of individual captured units and developed a way to join them together into a continuous chain, creating the distinctive interlocking pattern used in my Voidknot jewellery.

Each piece is made by hand, one ring at a time, using the construction I developed for the chain. The finished weave has a substantial, tactile feel with plenty of intricate detail, giving it a striking presence whether worn on its own or layered with other jewellery.

With its unusual construction and bold 12mm profile, the Voidknot has a distinctly gothic, medieval and fantasy feel. It's a statement piece that's designed to stand out, while still being versatile enough to wear as a bracelet, choker or longer necklace.

- 6–12 inches — Bracelet or anklet
- 13–16 inches — Choker or short necklace
- 17–30 inches — Necklace
